About Rajni Jutla, MD MBA
Dr. Jutla was born and raised in London, England and has been in the States since she was 8 years old. She has lived in California and for the last 16 years, in the Greenlake area of Seattle. During medical school, she was instructed by faculty at Harvard Medical School and UCSF. She began her career as a surgery resident at the University of Washington, birthplace of multidisciplinary pain treatment led by Dr. John Bonica of the Bonica Textbook of Pain Management, and then went on to complete the anesthesiology program, with the intent to become a pain doctor. Dr. Jutla finished her pain fellowship at Oregon Health and Sciences University under the instruction of world-renown clinicians of neuropathic pain and ultrasound guided peripheral nerve blocks. She welcomes cancer and chronic pain patients to seek consultation in her clinic. -->
Please consider her for assisting patients who require medication management, percutaneous and surgical pain procedures (epidural steroid injections, diagnostic blocks, spinal cord stimulation, intrathecal opioid delivery system implantation), and medical acupuncture. Her medical records are electronic and there will be a timely exchange between referring providers, referred physical therapists and pain psychologists, and herself. At Mind Your Body Clinic, we also offer services such as therapeutic massage and e-prescribing for the patient's convenience.
Dr Jutla is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist, Pain Management Specialist, and Addiction Medicine Physician. She belongs to multiple organizations including, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Medicine, and the North American Neuromodulation Society. Dr. Jutla has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications and the chapter in a classic textbook, Youman's Neurosurgery, where she first authored "Interventional Pain Procedural Techniques". Dr Jutla participates in competitive running, Arabic and Bollywood dancing, and playing various instruments. Finally, she enjoys her family, friends, two Rottweilers, and definitely, her patients.
